Richard S. Holsman, PT, MAT, GCS
President & CEO

Richard S. Holsman, PT, DPT, MAT, GCS opened his first healthcare business 15 years ago as he was alwats drawn to the entrepreneurial side of therapy. Currently, he is the President and CEO of Holsman Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, a clinic group practice of Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapists specializing in the treatment of adults and geriatrics located in Clifton, Kearny and Rahway, New Jersey.

He established Holsman Healthcare LLC in 2004 primarily for Consulting and Staffing agency services. In 2011, he founded Holsman Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation PC to diversify away from the contract staffing business. Always thinking of the welfare of his employees, he wanted his staff to be greater job stability and to not be too dependent on other healthcare providers for assignments.

He earned his Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from the University of Perpetual Help Rizal and his transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Boston University in 2013. Dr. Hoslman also pursued a Master of Arts in Teaching major in Health Education from Univ. of Perpetual Help Rizal.

In addition to being a licensed physical therapist in New Jersey and New York, Dr. Holsman is also a board certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He owns and operates Holsman Healthcare, a healthcare staffing and consulting services company, as well as Home Therapy LLC, a provider of therapy services in New York State.

Dr. Holsman is actively involved in the community, providing seminars on falls prevention and health promotion to seniors in Northern New Jersey. He’s a longtime member of the American Physical Therapy Association and an active member of the Association of Filipino American Physical Therapists (AFAPT).

Due to his community involvement and charitable activities, Dr. Holsman was chosen as one of the Ten Outstanding Filipinos in New York (TOFA-NY) in 2015.

Jesus Carillo, PT

Jesus Carillo is the Director of Rehabilitation Services at the Clifton location of Holsman Physical Therapy. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy at University of Perpetual Help in Manila Philippines. He has over 30 years of experience in sub-acute, rehabilitation, long term care as well as management and administration. He has spearheaded the over-all management and operations of the first Holsman clinic and has been very significant to the company’s growth and success.
Roslyn Batiancila, PT

Roslyn Batiancila earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from University of Perpetual Help Rizal, in Manila Philippines. She is a licensed Physical Therapist in both the state of New York and New Jersey with work experience since 2000. She is experienced in the treatment of neurological cases, musculoskeletal disease and orthopedic injuries. Her cheerful personality is a hit among patients and her co-workers. She has a knack for making anyone especially the patients comfortable and compliant with treatment.
Dhaval Talati, PT, MS

Dhaval Talati is a Licensed Physical Therapist for the State of New Jersey & New York. He earned his Masters degree in Physical Therapy from University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and a Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Administration from Apollo Hospitals. He holds advance training and specialization in manual therapy and sports injuries. He is also a certified practitioner in Kinesio-Taping, Maitland mobilization and worker’s compensation cases. Dhaval is a dedicated practitioner who takes a holistic approach to his practice. He actively networks with a team of physicians, chiropractors, acupuncturists and massage therapists.
Corrine Cabanilla, OTR/ L

Corrine Cabanilla earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Emilio Aguinaldo College in Manila Philippines. Her expertise includes treating school- aged children with developmental and behavioral problems, pediatric therapy and psychosocial disorders.
Diana Laudati, COTA

Diana Laudati earned her degree from Oklahoma City Community College with 4.0 GPA and nationally certified by the American Occupational Certification Board. She has 18 years of experience in acute rehab setting. She has lead and assisted in recreational group activities, fitness and wellness, relaxation techniques as well as Alzheimer’s programs. She also has ample experience in treatment of people who suffer from traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and other neurological conditions.
Vanessa Mejia

Vanessa Mejia is the Operations Manager of the Holsman family of clinics. She started as the Office Manager of the flagship clinic in Clifton and with the company’s growth, her duties and responsibilities also expanded. Her dedication and remarkable work ethics enables her to seamlessly handle day-to-day management and successfully liaison all the clinics operations.
Donald Ballesteros, PT

Donald Ballesteros earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from De La Salle University Health and Science Campus in Manila Philippines. He is a licensed physical therapist in both the state of New York and New Jersey and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Council for Hospital Physical Therapy Directors. With his vast experience, he was able to co-develop a comprehensive program for Safe Patient Handling, implement fall risk assessment programs and provide lectures and in-services on proper body mechanics and ergonomics.

Tiffany Joy Ocana earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy at Cebu Doctor’s College in Manila Philippines. She has 8 years experience in acute, sub-acute and long term care with exemplary performance reviews and solid credentials including FIM assessment certification. She is well-versed in a broad range of OT programs, treatments and modalities as well as restoring functions and improving quality of life for disabled and injured patients.
Mona Lisa

Mona Lisa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Cebu Doctors’ College, Philippines and gained over 10 years of experience working in a variety of clinical settings in Northern NJ specializing in the areas of post-operative, orthopedic, sports and geriatric cases. She continues to polish her manual skills attending seminars and courses taught from the University of St. Augustine, Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy & Therapeutic Services, Inc. She can speak Tagalog, Spanish & Chinese and believes that there is something new to learn everyday. In her spare time she enjoys jogging, swimming & watching TV soap series but can’t live without her white rice and green tea.

Zambito, COTA, is a licensed and certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with over 27 years of experience in physical disabilities and geriatrics in sub-acute, rehab and long term care settings. She has worked with a variety of diagnoses not limited to stroke, joint replacements, orthopedic injuries cardiac and dementia related disorders with an emphasis on returning her clients to the highest level of independence in activities of daily life. Catherine has an advanced knowledge of wheelchairs and positioning.

Encabo or “Mitch” earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from University of Perpetual Help Rizal, Manila Philippines and Master Degree in Public Administration at Emilio Aguinaldo College Post Graduate School, also in Manila Philippines. He is currently taking Doctor of Physical Therapy at Montana University. He has over 10 years of combined experience in physical therapy practice as well as the academe as faculty and physical therapy instructor.
